Fake Identification Isn't Just For Teens by Clara McLain

This story by Motoko Rich is reporting a new scandal that has recently surfaced.  Clarence Mumford is accused of leading an operation that sells fake identification for Educational Testing Service (E.T.S.) He also had fake test takers that could be hired by people to take the E.T.S. for them. "According to court documents, Mr. Mumford solicited teachers to act as proxy test takers, often telling them that the people who needed help with the tests were in danger of losing their jobs."  What later made the test takers suspicious was a man who took the E.T.S. one morning, returned with a different I.D. that afternoon with a woman's name.  Hm...
An interesting little system he was running. As unethical as it is, the business was a good way for him to make money and the clients to pass the E.T.S. as well as the teachers that took the tests to make some extra money.
