Donald Trump, our current president is considering on putting restrictions on sex, and it's definitions. He's trying to define sex by gender and genitalia at birth. Obama and his department loosened some of the legal restrictions on sex and sexuality in terms of education and etc. Now the department of health and human and Trump are trying to reinstall a strict confined definition of sex.
I'm confused as to why we are backtracking with the progress we just made with the lgbt community. July 26, 2015 was the day same sex marriage was legalize in the U.S. Ever since April 2016, people have been fighting for the transgendered rights and I don't understand why you need to fight for something you should already own such as your rights.

ReplyDeleteI wrote a post that covered a very similar topic, and I agree that what Trump was planning on doing is outrageous. For too long has the LGBTQ+ community been swept under the rug by the government, and they're not about to let that happen again.
