Earlier today, an Israeli rabbi was stabbed and killed by a (currently) unidentified Palestinian in Ariel, one of the largest Israeli communities in the West Bank. Tensions between Palestinians and Israelis have been at an all-time high since President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital in December of last year.
I understand that the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is very much a deeply rooted issue, and I personally need to research more on the history in order to directly comment in the debate.
