Wolfgang Hunter - Egypt bans SNL Arabia over 'sexual phrases and insinuations'

The Egyptian Media Regulation Department has recently banned 'Saturday Night Live: Arabia': a popular satirical show in the Middle East; obviously a spin off of the popular show of the same namesake here in the U.S. The reasoning behind the ban is because of the "sexual phrases, insinuations, and nods that the show is famous for", and it is unclear if this ban will lead to other Middle Eastern countries banning the show as well.

Although their reasoning for banning the show from Egyptian television is more valid than other similar situations in the recent past, censoring of the media, in my eyes, is worse than the explicit and inappropriate material that the content might convey.
