Snowboarder Wins Medal- JJ Jankovsky

Ester Ledeka wins gold medal in skiing, but really she was originally a snowboarder. She is soon to challenge the super-G on skis, a parallel giant slalom, on a snowboard and her strongest event. Winning a medal would make Ledeka the sixth Olympian to medal in two unrelated sports in the same Games. There are many athletes that compete in different arenas, but none are like Ledeka. She skis and snowboards greatly. Which is very hard for an amazing athlete in training. One sport can be a challenge enough, but taking on two is truly amazing. Some think it's crazy that Ledeka is doing this but I think it's truly wonderful. She not only tries to play 2 sports at the same time, but she is truly mastering them at the same time. Such an inspiration.

  1. It's so cool that more olympians are competing in unrelated sports. I didn't even know that they could do that.

  2. Wow that is very unusual that someone is that talented in not one but two sports. It takes over four years of intensive training to be in the olympics so I can’t even imagine how much she trained for to perfect two sports.

  3. I bet that feeling is so rewarding. She truly has a gift. I can't imagine all the hard work that has gone into these two sports.
