Van Jones: 'Black Panther' is a revelation

"Black Panther" is a 'long-awaited film.'" It brings to life an advanced society with the incorporation of culturally rich,  black excellence. This film will not only inspire black children in the US and around the world, but it will also highlight the idea of strength in the African American race, both physically as well as intellectually. With the abundance of negativity swirling around in our society today, this film focuses on the betterment of the future.

This article has the central idea of empowering African American individuals. This relates to Harlem Renaissance in APUSH. Although the effects of "Black Panther" are on a lower scale, both the Harlem Renaissance and the movie share the same ideal message of intellectual, social, and artistic celebration of African Americans.
