Are Emotional Support Animals A Scam?
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/07/learning/are-emotional-support-animals-a-scam.html

Summary: Airlines are experiencing difficulty letting passengers on with their claimed "emotional support" animals. Although most airlines are lenient with dogs and cats, some passengers have gone to extremes by bringing exotic animals like peacocks.

Analysis: I believe emotional support animals are necessary for passengers that have in-flight anxiety or other conflicts, but peacocks? Dogs and cats and other DOMESTICATED animals are fine, but I have a problem of passengers using this to take their exotic pets with them on flights. People really need these support animals! And I feel that some people are taking advantage and risking this privilege being taken away from the people who really need it.

  1. Yea, I see your point. I dont understand why someone would bring a not domesticated animal on an airplane, potentially risking the lives of the rest of the passengers.
