Craig Fleming 4-4

This year's flu season could be the worst there's ever been. So far 63 people have died, and the season is just getting started. Experts aren't even sure how long the season will last. Influenza kills 12,000 to 49,000 people a year and hospitalizes 700,000 a year. Hospitalizations are higher than they've ever been before, and the ages affected have greatened.  7.7 of all doctor visits are flu-related. This year's severeness comes from the H3N2 which is known for mutating to be worse. Contrary to common belief, people can get sick again from different strains of the flu.
