Uber Eats driver suspected in shooting death of customer turns himself in
This Saturday at about 11:30 a man was killed by his Uber Eats driver. He had ordered food online and went down to receive the food from the driver and apparently the two exchanged words but no one is for sure on what was said. Moments after, the driver shot and killed the customer, and drove off right after. The man turned himself in at about 3 today, Monday. Uber Eats is completely saddened by this terrible event. They say that the clients are not allowed to carry weapons in their cars, and will be working to make sure that is enforced.
I have ordered from Uber Eats many times before, and the thought of that happening is so sad and scary. I can't imagine how that family is feeling. I hope Uber Eats can find a way to make its customers feel more safe, so this doesn't happen again.
Olivia Wall- I know how popular uber eats is, and it is crazy to think that he went to such an extreme. Now, the company is going to be investigated so much, and I hope they are able to get down to the root of the problem.
