Neutron star collision creates ripples in space-time
http://abcnews.go.com
Summary: NASA has said that detected ripples in the space-time continuum were caused by two neutron stars colliding.
Analysis: Finally some encouraging news! NASA's exponential growth since the proving of the existence of gravitational waves and solidifying of Einstein's theory gives me hope that the American science departments can help clean up our reputation a little. Instead of being that country that can't hold itself together for more than five minutes we can parade our scientific advances and intelligence.
I'm just glad that NASA is able to maintain a solid reputation - something hard to come by these days!
ReplyDeleteI think this is really exciting, because this is the first time in recorded history that this has been observed by humans. I can only imagine what amazing things we can learn from this event.
ReplyDeleteThis is wild. NASA has been discovering some pretty wack stuff lately and hopefully they'll be able to keep their reputation and give the US something solid to be prideful about.
ReplyDeleteOlivia Wall- It is cool that we can continue to advance in our technology and knowledge in science, and I agree that it is exciting for NASA and their growth.
ReplyDeleteSpace is really cool and terrifying I love it! It's also really cool that NASA is back on its feet after having a little bit of a gridlock, hopefully we'll be able to just advance from here.
