Tropical Storm Phillippe brought strong winds and heavy rains to the Northeast, by coincidence, on the 5 year anniversary of superstorm Sandy. Sunday night rainfall continued until the storm merged with a low pressure system from the Great Lakes The form was formed near western Cuba only a few days ago. Forecasters predict the storm will move into the Atlantic Ocean before Monday. About 45 million people in the Northeast are on Flash flood watch.

Im glad that they have good control and watch over this storm and they are researching where it came from and where its going in order to keep everyone safe and informed. Technology has really improved in helping people prepare for natural disasters and preparing for them long before they strike.
