Elizabeth Keehn, 1st period-Trump awards Medal of Honor to Vietnam War medic

President Trump presented the highest military award to Gary Michael Rose, a retired US Army captain who served as a medic in the Vietnam war, saving many lives while putting his life at risk for others. Rose is being presented this award for risking his life multiple times in order to get his fellow soldiers medical aid. he even used his own body as a shield at one point during the war. To me, this shows how devoted people are and should be when it comes to their profession. this can be related to George Washington during the winter at valley forge. Washington was so devoted and determined that he stayed with his fellow soldiers and gave them hope.
