An investigation is being made after an amtrak crash killed two amtrak construction workers. Strong evidence suggests that the workers made a "colossal" mistake by being on the wrong line. The amtrak was said to have slammed into a backhoe killing the two workers, and injuring thirty-seven of the more than three hundred passengers. Experts say that it is actually common for workers to be working on active tracks, however this incident particularly shouldn't have happened.
This is a very unfortunate event, and hopefully amtrak learns something from it. It looks like the workers were surly on the wrong track somehow, but it is yet to be determined exactly how. It could be a flaw in the scheduling, the system, or it could be that the workers were just misinformed or looked into it wrong. There should definitely be changes made to ensure this never happens again.

This is very sad, and I hope that changes are made.
