Currently in Brazil, there is chaos concerning the corruption behind the democratic political party. Dilma Rousseff is the first female president of Brazil who has been charged with hiding federal budget troubles during her re-election campaign. Although this is not unconstitutional and she is not facing corruption charges, her opponents are defending that the dilemma with Ms. Rousseff is that her government covered a growing budget deficit; essentially, this is like bedazzling the economy to create an attractive exterior.
Ever since Ms. Rousseff went into office, the economy has gone from bad to worse and many citizens strongly feel that she should be impeached. The impeachment progress in Brazil mirrors the one in the US. Since the majority of the lower house voted for her impeachment, the next step will be senate vote on trial and eventually an impeachment vote.
