Inside Trump Tower, Home To 2016’s Troubling, Unprecedented Campaign - Erin O'Day

We are undergoing what many are terming the "Trump Revolution." This presidential race is arguably one of the most troubling ones in a long time, and it will undoubtedly shape the next several decades of politics. Many Trump supporters like him because he is not a politician but a businessman. He is running his campaign much differently than in the past: instead of relying on a large "operation" with a huge staff, he simply jets around to rallies around the country. Inside Trump Tower is where the revolution is really noticeable, though. For starters, he lives in this tower, along with his whole family, many of his political connections and his head campaign officers. Also, his campaign headquarters is obviously there. Also, in the lobby, he sells much campaign merchandise, perhaps the most telling of which being his line of fragrances called "Success."

Ok, I personally find it creepy that lots of his employees live in the same building as him, and that he is literally selling cologne called "Success: in the lobby. But aside from the creepiness factor, I would liken this "Trump Revolution" to the "Reagan Revolution" of the 1980s. Reagan also drastically altered the political scene of his time with the resurgence of conservatism. Reagan too was a Washington outsider, since he was a Hollywood actor.
