Lavie Parush has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. A year and a half ago, he would have had 12 seizures a day. This left his parents hopeless and scared. After consulting with a doctor they agreed to try medical cannabis. After only a month of putting a single drop of cannabis oil into Lavie's food, they immediately noticed the decrease in attacks. From 12 seizures a day to none, Lavie and his family seem to be at ease.
I think this is great. I see this relating back to history because in WW2 (1940s) many chanted the slogan "Hemp For Victory" which was caused by the shortage of hemp material for the making of supplies for the military parachute chords and other necessities for the war effort. Many farmers were paid by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to produce hemp. Many protest the use of cannabis in children because its psychoactive qualities, but there is now a way to extract the THC(psychoactive chemical in the plant) so that only the healing properties are left which is all that is given to Lavie.

It is great that that family was able to be helped by this cure. If only a miracle like this could be found for cancer, that would help so many families like this one.
