Iran Ignores Visa Applications from U.S. Congressmen by Caroline North 9th period

Iran has neglected to process visa applications for American officials who wish to travel to Iran, meet with American hostages, obtain information on captured American sailors, and observe the Iranian elections.  The officials are frustrated by the lack of progress with the visa approvals and demand a response.  Further, they argue that while Iran is prohibiting Americans from traveling to them, we have been open with Iranians traveling to the United States.  In fact, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Valliolah Sief visited Washington D.C. just this week.

Iran and the United States' debates is another example of rocky foreign policy.  The two are uncooperative due to a difference in government and beliefs.  The United States has exercised a global foreign policy since the beginning of the 20th century.  With establishing itself as a world power, America has also run more directly into hostilities with other nations who oppose our government style and beliefs.
