Claudia Anthony "Bernie Sanders rallies with striking Verizon workers"

On Monday, Bernie Sanders praised striking Verizon workers in Manhattan for standing “up for justice and against corporate greed.” Sanders is against large corporations like Verizon, who he said was cutting workers medical benefits, while the CEO, Lowell McAdam, has an $18 million salary. Sanders claims that greed like that seen in Verizon is destroying America's middle class. This appearance was the first time Sanders has stood up for strikers. McAdam spoke against Sanders “uninformed views” but did not comment on his salary, which is 300 times more than what an average Verizon worker makes.

I think it is great that Sanders is sticking up for these strikers. This reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt, who was a trust-buster, and the Sherman Anti-Trust Act which promoted healthy competition and stimulated the economy.
