Mountain Lion in L.A. Zoo -Avery Yoss

Recently, a mountain lion in the Los Angeles area hopped the LA zoo wall and "mauled" one of the 11 koalas that were currently living in the zoo. This mountain lion has actually been spotted before under the hollywood sign and has made it into the national geographic magazine.

I think it is very interesting that they have been trying to catch this specific mountain lion for a while now and they just now found him. And how he climbed the zoo wall. Poor koala though.

  1. Seriously, poor koala. Thank goodness it wasn't a person, though. I hope they're keeping a safe eye out.

  2. Aww that's really sad to hear. But at least they are now aware of this mountain lion.

  3. It is sad to hear about the koala, but good to know that they found the mountain lion.

  4. They definitely need to keep an eye on this mountain lion because it could potentially harm a human instead of a poor koala.

  5. That's such an absurd story, it's wild (literally) that an animal would be able to make it over a zoo wall. Aren't walls supposed to stop that from happening?
