This article discusses the events following the death of the beloved author Harper Lee. Her will was sealed by the Alabama court by the request of the lawyer of Lee's personal representative. It is said that Lee did not want her personal matters to be a topic of public discussion, especially those having to deal with her financial life. This brought some conflicting opinions from the public, as they wished to have some sort of closure from her passing, but wanted to respect her wishes.
It is great that so many people care about Harper Lee. The public's love for her was reestablished when she died, as it was a time to celebrate the impact she had on the world. This impact took height when she wrote To Kill a Mockingbird during the Cultural Renaissance of the 1960's. The book depicted the life of African Americans at the time, and historically before preceding it. It assisted in the launch of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's. Her book is one of the most popular books of all time, and it is great that this can be recognized once again.

I've said this like three different times in this whole blog deal throughout the year, but To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book ever. Harper Lee was a private person and I think that it's good that people are respecting her wishes to keep her will private.
