Summary:
After two years in space, astronauts Scott kelly and Mark Kelly returned back to earth after a two year trip in space. Researches are now trying to figure out the affects of space in the body in order to send a crew to Mars. In a year, space can affect the vision, bones and muscles, and the heart. Radiation is also a factor in how a human's body changes while in space.
Analysis:
I haven't heard much about space exploration in a quick minute, but I think it is so cool that we have come as far as to be able to spend two years in space. This reminds me of during the Cold War, when America was in constant competition with other countries, specifically the Soviet Union in order to create new developments and gain fame. While the circumstances are slightly different and it is no longer a race, putting these people into space and collecting data will ultimately make our country a faster, smarter, and more innovative one.
I think America's strides in space exploration are so cool and I can't wait to see if we are able to land someone on Mars! -Claudia Anthony
