White House set to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions- Lossie Hudspeth

Energy has been an issue in America, whether it be conserving it or cultivating it, it has made itself prominent in our economy and culture. Since the Carter years the idea of conservation of energy has been a frequently sought after goal to accomplish. The only difference between now and the Carter years is that now Americans are having to live through the toll that those non-conservationists left us with. However Obama is seeking to change that; a bill to reduce 28% of greenhouse gas emissions seems to be the answer. These new regulations will apply to "buildings and appliances, and programs to phase down climate pollutants known as HFCs." 

 Hopefully this bill will pass and Americans will be more aware of their energy output.
