Excavations at Abusir Archaeological Cemetery at Giza revealed the tomb of the Head of the Physicians of Upper and Lower Egypt who dates to the 5th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. The physician's final resting place is is very large in size and a false door inside the chapel where the tomb was found carries the names and titles of the owners. "Priest of Khnum" and "Priest of Magic" in addition to other titles are written on the eastern part of the tomb and shows how the deceased physician was one of the most important royal physicians in Ancient Egypt. This is the 3rd tomb belonging to a physician discovered at Abusir Cemetery.
This relates to APUSH because the history found behind the tombs can contribute to the history that we learn today. What we can learn from these tombs can teach us more about how life was back then and maybe use it in today's time. I feel like this discovery will help us learn more about Egyptian time and the way they lived and handled their situations.
