Feminism has been around since the age of modernism and as always has been breaking down the walls of a "traditional family". As long as there have been conservatives, there have been liberals to promote equal and fair opportunities for women. However, in the past months various political parties, especially Republicans have been changing certain policies to get more people on board with their campaign for the 2016 presidential election. Which is why Rep. Carolyn Maloney and Rep. Cynthia Lummis are both taking charge to push for the Equal Rights Amendment to be in the U.S Constitution. Both of these women are ready to change the game plan in America's patriarchal society.
Like many of the women in the 60's and 70's fighting for equal pay and better opportunities, Republicans, even the far right conservatives, are seeking to see that justice is served.
