Walter Scott shooting- Pearson Chambers 4th

Slager, 33, is charged with murder in the death of Scott, 50, who was recorded on video being shot eight times even though he appeared unarmed and was running away from Slager.

I keep hearing that it was a good thing that Slager got convicted,while yes I do agree that the ramafaction of his actions should be met with consequences we are facing a much bigger problem in America.The rate for unjustified murders by police has not gone up in recent years, but we as Americans have become more aware.This will be an interesting topic in the upcoming presidential election. We want to see how  our government will respond to this national crisis
