In the San Joaquin area of California there was a wife and husband were doing a photography project which resulted in the first set of clown sightings, but now there are other people doing the same thing and no one can figure out who they are. There was even a report where one seemed to have been in possession of a weapon. There was also a teenager who was arrested for dressing up as a clown and chased some other teens.
It's a very disturbing thought that no one knows who these could be and that it's sortof an unsolved mystery. It also shows that some simple harmless things can spiral out of control and cause great trouble without being controlled.

This is a very strange incident, and even more strange that it is reoccurring. When I read this I thought about the KKK and how they wore masks and cloaks to hide their true identity, but they would get together in groups to cause harm and ciaos among innocent bystanders. -Blythe Taylor 3 period
