As recent reports have come about, the recent shooting that took place at a Washington High school has brought up the controversial question that has plagued our nation time and time again. After the young teenager fired six shots at his family and close friends he then took his own life. This is has opened up the debate of gun control and how incidents like this wouldn't happen if we did not have such easy access to guns. This also opens up the issue of students and how parents need to be more involved in children's lives. I think it is so sad and awful that parents have to bury their children. I hope that events like this really open up politicians eyes to see that the constitution was written before our time. It is meant to change over time. We have entered a new era. We need to evolve our politics and our laws just like we have evolved our lives.
