This situation connects most directly to the last teachers strike,The Wisconsin Teachers Strike (2011), teachers wanted to keep collective bargaining rights for teachers unions in Wisconsin and sought out that change by protesting for five months. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and did not get the law repealed. The current protest is a step up to show that teachers are getting serious and are leaving 60,000 kids without teachers. However, we won't know if they are successful just yet.
The article was written for concerned parents of Los Angeles who want extra information on topic of what to do with there kids.

Honestly I'm not surprised this has happened because teachers are teaching the leaders of the future yet the 8 hours of the day and sometimes stay past hours to do other work and are paid poorly. Teachers can have a crazy amount of students in each class but are expected to figure it out. Teachers are hard working people and deserve to be properly accomadated.
I agree, how are teachers suppose to teach with too many students in just one class room. It is unfair to them. ~ Stephannie Hernandez
ReplyDeleteI agree there should never be that many students in a classroom. It does not create a very comfortable environment.
