Revolt Blamed on Venezuelan Opposition

Following a large theft of military equipment and a failed revolt by military officers in Venezuela on Monday, the Socialist government has claimed that the stolen weapons were meant for the opposition party, People’s Will. The claims were accompanied by no facts and have been seen by te opposition as absolute slander. This comes just days prior to scheduled protests against te Maduro-led government and the people’s lack of confidence.
It is an absolute travesty that the leaders of Venezuela have come to baseless claims of conspiracy theories and everyone plotting against their back in order to “discredit” the only remaining main opposition against the corrupt and enirely ineffective Maduro Government. Reuters provided this report without bias or opinion, providing the base fact of this international development. It also is a telltale sign of a country’s collapse of its own military is expressing clear discontent such as this.
I believe the situation currently occurring in Venezuela is reminiscent of the blame placed on The Knights of Labor following the bombing in Haymarket Square. This resulted in the utter collapse of the union as the two became inseparable in association. I simply hope that this collapse does not occur based on baseless rumors against the opposition.
It’s terrible how a simple association with a negative person or event could lead to the downfall of an organization like Venezuela’s military and the Knights of Labor. It would be nice if the world could just be peaceful, you know? But then we wouldn’t have much to do our current events on, considering a large fraction of news content is negative....what a shame that would be lol
