Shootings are unfortunately so common now that one like this where ‘only’ five people die, not many people here about it and it rarely will be shared in the media. But when you really look at it, five innocent people lost their lives recently because a man bought a gun and had vicious intentions. There have sadly been way too many shootings in the last year, so this story relates to so many other events in history. But this initially reminded me of the Parkland Florida school shooting that occured last February. This was another instance where many innocent people lost their lives, unexpectedly, to gun violence. Gun laws have been a big topic in politics, and one that is very important. Hopefully, the future will look different and things will change for the better.
I agree, the number of shootings in this country is very concerning and there needs to be change to save the lives of innocent people.
ReplyDeleteShootings happen almost everyday now and it's really sad that when you hear about the death of five innocent people it loses impact.
ReplyDeleteThese shootings are gonna continue and there s barely anything we can do to stop it and it is very sad that this is what our society has come to.
