Payton Climer
This article was written by CBS Los Angeles on April 7, 2017. It was written with little to no bias and stated the facts and events clearly and straight to the point. It started with two girls who were said to have paid a 15 year old to sucker punch a 13 year old as they recorded it. The boy who punched did not know the kid he punched and had no reasoning behind it. He punched him from behind and he kid ended up taking brain damage and spend six days in the hospital. The victum's parents are seen and heard talking about he punishment the the boy was receiving and they said that they do not think that it is enough due to the fact that the damage hat he did will effect their son permanently while his punishment is temporary. There was only on person arrested and that was one of the girls who instigated it but she was said to be not guilty. It is sad to see the cruelty of these teens and small kids. It is also very disappointing that these kids were willing to risk a kids life and hurt another person in order to get money or a video. I agree with the parents that his punishment should be more permanent but at the same time he is still a kid ,and although even at his age he would not treat others that way, he still has his whole life ahead of him.

it is so sad to see the things teens will do to each other. i hope this boy that punched and the girls who told him to do it get some sort of punishment and pay for the medical bill of the 13 year old. -tessa ward
