Summary:
On Earth Day, Bill Nye was one of 5 who took part in a split screen feature to talk about the Earth and climate change. His biggest opponent that night seemed to be William Happer, a physicist who has relations with Trump. Happer said that carbon dioxide being harmful is a "myth" and did not take it seriously. Nye quickly said back that he was obstructing the fact that carbon emissions are a factor in climate change. He said that he "clearly doesn't understand the rate" of climate change. It was later said that he said that "CNN treats news like a sport, or theatre".
Analysis:
I think that Bill Nye knows more than people may give him credit for. It is crazy that Happer thinks its okay to ignore the climate changes in our world...and honestly I am happy that someone had the nerve to call out an ignorant person like that on TV. GO BILL!!
