On Wednesday, a robber entered a Kansas City Jimmy Johns and pulled a gun out on the cashier. Surprisingly, the cashier barely reacted at all. Instead, he calmly hands over cash, eventually giving the robber the entire till. By Thursday, the police had released the video of the robbery, and by Friday, had announced that they had captured the suspect. In a tweet, Jimmy Johns thanks the Kansas City police for their quick action.
This is a scary situation to hear about, yet it is a reality that we face. The way the cashier remained calm is a perfect example of how to behave in emergencies. Thankfully, nobody was injured, and the suspect was quickly arrested. This connects to the crime rings in the 1920s in Prohibition.
