Hannah Howell- World's Oldest Woman
Summary: Violet Brown became the world's oldest person after Emma Morano died at age 177 recently. Brown is also 117 and was born in 1900. She lives in Jamaica and has lived there all her life. She lived there 67 years before Jamaica was even founded! She claims "Really and truly, when people ask what me eat and drink to live so long, I say to them that I eat everything, except pork and chicken, and I don't drink rum and them things," when asked what her secret is.
Analysis: Wow, this is really interesting. She got to live to see electricity and stuff come to Jamaica!! My great grandad is 103 but nowhere near 117. I don't think I would want to live that long. no thx u
