As learned from AP-U.S History, the United States relations with Cuba have not been on the best of terms. Such an example would be the Cuban Missile Crisis that really put a strain on an already thin line. Which is why in more recent news Obama wants to restore that trust by casting aside past grievances to remove "barriers to commerce and travel." So on Saturday April 11th, Raul Castro and President Obama met at a conference to discuss the United States future relations with Cuba.
Although both sides seem to be hesitant about opening trade to two completely different governments, it might just help boost both nations economies. By using past events and potential relations with the two countries, what are the possible outcomes of this new agreement?

I agree that it would most likely boost both economies, as trade often does, although it will be a different matter in whether taxes on such traded goods come into play.
