California's Climate Change- Lauren Kuehmeier, period 2

California experiences record breaking lows and proves there is a major climate change occurring. Due to temperatures that are extremely high, the amount of rainfall proves to be minuscule. The drought stands as the worst to hit the state in 1,200 years. This is also because the snowfall provides about a third of California’s total water supply and the amount snowfall keeps getting smaller and smaller.  Why this all is occurring could be because of there are changing weather patterns due to global warming may have contributed to the reduced precipitation. This is taking a huge toll on crops because of the dried and enormously cracked soil.
