The NYPD is still searching for a 14 year old autistic boy that ran away from school three days ago. The teen was last seen caught on surveillance running from his school in New York. Avonte Oquendo, a 14 year old autistic boy was captured on film running from the Center Boulevard school where he was a student. This story really upsets me. I am upset for the boy's family who must be going through a very difficult time, and I am also sorry that the school(a place that should be protecting him) let him run away. I hope that the boy is found for the sake of his family and his own well being. I think the school should have been more careful with him and watched him more closely. A boy that cannot verbally communicate should not be allowed out on his own.

Wow, loosing an autistic teenage boy in New York sounds like an awful situation to be in. But with so many people around, it can make it easier, or very very difficult. Lets hope people are kind and see the news
