Current Event #8
Two murderers were accidentally released from prison in Florida. The two men forged court papers that allowed them to walk out as free men. Charles Walker( escaped on Oct.8) and Joseph Jenkins(escaped on Sept. 27), both of age 34 were serving life long sentences without parole but they forged signatures from the Orlando-area state attorney saying that their sentences had been reduced. A few days after they had both escaped, the men ingeniously went back to the jail to register as felons, making it less obvious that they had fled. No one from the jail got in trouble for letting these two guys escape from their grasp for they were trained to not question court orders. They have taken this crime into consideration and will observe court orders thoroughly so that this incident does not happen again.
It's hard to believe that two men could literally just walk out of a prison. In my opinion the police/security guards should've been more cautious of letting two convicted murderers out of jail. It should have arose a little bit of skepticism that the men who were not assigned any parole were allowed to walk free. It is really scary that murderers are on the loose and I hope for the people of Florida's sake, that these men are found immediately.

WOW that is literally outstanding....how do prisoners just walk out like that..It's also a little freaky because well America is suppose to have a strong security system since 9/11 happened right...*cough*cough
ReplyDeleteThis is crazy, how can they just let prisoners just up and walkout? I don't get it, it got the point where they signed their own papers and to where they basically got themselves out of jail.
