Lex Willis- Woman got a $35 manicure then ran out without paying. 51 year old woman was ran over trying to stop her
Summary: Nhu "Annie" Ngoc Quynh, 51, was a Vietnamese refugee who raised her daughters in the United States and was killed outside of her nail salon when trying to stop 21-year old Krystal Whipple when she ran without paying for a $35 manicure. She died of blunt force injuries, ruling the case as a homicide. Krystal had hit Annie with a stolen rental car and drove off. Annie managed the business with her partner Sonny Chung. Sonny said that Annie's car had declined multiple times when they tried to charge her for the manicure. Krystal had told them that she'd go to her car with her boyfriend to get cash. Annie and Sonny followed her out and saw that they were trying to leave and Annie tried to stop them. “She ran off for $35 and killed my wife — $35 to run my wife over,” said Sonny Chung.
