Government shutdown Grayson Decker
The government officially shutdown on December 22, 2019 under Trump did not recive his 5 billion dollars to fund his wall between Mexico and the U.S. Illigal immigration is one of Americas largest problems when they come in and take American jobs which goes against "America first." The only reason the 5 billion was not raised was because the Democrats are scared that with the lack of illegal immigrants, they will lose a large voter population. If Obama can send $1.7 Billion in cash to Iran and that is mostly ignored just even though it funded ISIS, why can't we raise $5 billion to fix an actual American Problem?
Back in 2013 when the government shutdown under Obama for the objectively terrible "Affordable Care Act" (The names kinda ironic) and that was the 3rd longest shutdown. Sadly it actually got passed back then so maybe that can happen with Trumps shutdown.
