Qiaunci Jones- Chemical attack in Syria.
The United States blamed the Syrian government and its patrons, Russia and Iran, on Tuesday for one of the deadliest chemical weapons attacks in years in Syria, one that killed dozens of people in Idlib Province, including children, and sickened scores more. A senior State Department official said the attack appeared to be a war crime and called on Russia and Iran to restrain the government of President Bashar al-Assad of Syria from carrying out further chemical strikes.
This could be related to the United States involvement with the Middle East. These chemical attacks in Syria have been happening back to back. Assad is like similar to Isis. The US is always involved with those who need help. Is that a good choice? I don't know. This article is significant because it gives us awareness that one day this could be us & we need to be prepared.

This is so sad. It is terrible how governments attack their own people, and makes me glad to be living in one of the freest and safest countries in the world.
ReplyDeleteI agree this is a horrible thing that has occurred, to kill innocent people including children. Using chemical weapons is also a war crime that should not happen.
ReplyDeleteso sad to hear this tragic news! Cant believe the government would do something like this.
