Summary: Steven Bannon was removed from the National Security Council due to his connections to the Breitbart News, which is a right-wing news outlet that is used by the alt-right movement.
He will still remain the senior adviser for domestic affairs, however.
Analysis: Bannon was the excutive chairman of Breibart at one time and during this time headlines and stories were offensive towards gays, Afican Americans, Latinos, Muslims and other minorities. There is no excuse for having a member such as Bannon who is obviously a threat to communities who struggle for their rights, be in the in the position to make decisions for other people.
