Summary: Several churches are undergoing the process of becoming a sanctuary for immigrants. This situation is tricky because though this has been labeled illegal it is still unclear if churches will be prosecuted. Somes churches may just provide food, clothing, shelter and other supplies while others assist immigrants with meetings with immigration and customs enforcement.
Analysis: In past circumstances enforcement have avoided making arrest in churches because they are considered to be senstive areas. It is unclear now if will stick to that same principle that has been made.
