Elizabeth McCullough- Russia warns America: No more attacks on Syria

Synopsis: The Russian Foreign Minister met with his American parallel and started the conversation with the topic of America's recent actions in Syria. The Syrian leader has been blamed for a gas attack that killed 89 people. In response the US attacked a Syrian airbase for the first time. Russia is now saying that the chemical attack was perpetrated by the Syrian president, and that America's actions were wrong. Russia is currently Syria's biggest ally, and America's strongest enemy.

Analysis: Our recent history with Russia is not pretty. President Trump claims that we are "friendly", but historically we are not on good terms. I don't believe it was our place to act on Syria. I don't know much about the situation in the country, and the relationship we have with them. But I do know that if the same thing happened to us, we would be outraged. Violence does not solve violence. Words do. It wouldn't be a bad idea to listen to Russia, especially with the arsenal they have piling up.

Synthesis: The last time we were in conflict with Russia was the Cold War. It was like our current situation where we our disagreement has not come to violence, but we both know that power each of us possesses. If we were to ever go to war again with Russia, the outcome would be catastrophic.
