U.S. Graduation rate sky high: Daizha Lankford

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/data-mine/2015/05/12/us-on-track-to-reach-record-graduation-rate-in-2020-but-some-states-lag

GO AMERICA! We have apparently reached an all time high in the graduation rate for the United States. Although, many inner city kids are being statistically stereotyped of dropping out of school, the ways have turned around. The Racial divided in graduation rates are starting to close in, which is amazing, because it's always been white kids graduating more, because of the white supremacy in the education system. I'm so glad that "Equal Education" is FINALLY SOMEWHAT prevailing. The article says this about the racial divide. nd though large racial and opportunity gaps still exist, the year-over-year gains are largely the result of improvements among certain demographics and regions. Better outcomes among low-income students, Hispanic and African-American students and students with disabilities – as well as improvements in big cities and school districts and in larger states such as California, Texas and Florida – all have contributed to the increasing national graduation rate.
