Many Die Due To Flooding- Iris Hughey p.5

Thirteen people have died and many more have gone missing due to the recent flooding that has been happening in Texas, northern Mexico, and Oklahoma. At least 35 people in all have died due to the severe weather as the heavy rain and tornadoes have been coming in. Heavy rain is also expected to be coming in places such as Houston for the next six days as well. Many have been forced to move out of their homes - and some people's houses have already been swept down rivers that are overflowing. So far a total of around 1,400 houses in Houston have been damaged.

I don't think I have ever experienced this much rainy weather in my life. It's scary to think that places so close to Dallas have experiences deaths due to the high water levels. I just hope that the rain lets up soon so that there aren't any more deaths/people that go missing.
