A few children were injured in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as fast winds came in and cause the bounce house they were playing in to take flight. Some fell from up to 20 feet off the ground, and one little girl even got a fractured arm. many were injures with cuts and bruises, but there were no injuries worse than the fractured arm.
I'm very glad that there were no greater injuries than the girl with the fractured arm, and especially that no children were killed in the incident. I hope that this causes the bounce house company to possibly make more safety precautions and maybe make the ropes and stakes that keep it on the ground sturdier in the future.
