A family in Long Island have lived in their home for almost two years now, so they were surprised when they received a letter telling them to "go home". The letter stated things such as "Attn: African-American family" and "Lindenhurst is 84% white populations. You don't belong here!!!" Luckily, the police in the area are investigating who may have sent the letter and are going to dish out charges to whoever they find guilty.
It baffles me that racist hate crimes still go on today. It's a very sad reality that our world needs to overcome. The fact that people have different ethnicities, cultures, and appearances will never change, but what does need to change is the way people treat others unfairly or wrongly because of any of those things.
