A family living in Long Island received a letter that simply said "YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE". The family was really shocked because of the relationships they had with their neighbors they didn't know exactly what to think. The article states that the neighborhood was 85% white so the letter said that the African American family should go somewhere with people like them.
It depresses me to know that with all the growing that the U.S. went through to eliminate racism, it still exist. All the marches, fights, speeches, and yet we still have an issue. The U.S. has this reputation of all citizens being equal but with a letter like that I think not!!
