Because we are so accustomed to our own urban lives, we oftentimes forget about where our food comes from and the process of growth. This video states many facts, disputing the theory that illegal immigrants are stealing jobs. Georgia passed an act that forced them to return to their home countries, resulting in the loss of $1 billion and their farms almost being shut down entirely.
The issue of immigration has been one for centuries, due to many different factors and the favorite excuse being "they steal our jobs." It is a fact that immigrants usually take jobs that no one else will, hence why they are called the 'backbone' of the country. They manage city sewers, pick up garbage, and most often find themselves active in the agricultural setting. What this means is that they will take the jobs that are so awful in order to make a living, but some of us do not realize the importance of their contribution to our economy.
